dude, we have baby chicks.
when we walked into the feed store last night, and heard the baby "peeps peeps" I was instantly transformed into my eight year old self.
the sites, the sounds, the smell.. all the same. The chick tub in the same corner.
We would stop at the same feed store every week to buy food, and , I swear, the place hasnt changed one bit.
its exactly the same. and the same old guy is there working. =) aaaaahhhhh i love the smell of alfalfa, chicks, and wood chips. always have.
So, the babies have to stay inside under a heat lamp for about a month, and then we will move them outside into their new coop. (the kids old playhouse).
Fresh eggs anyone?
