school play
The other night was a lovely reminder of why we pay so damn much to live here.. aaahhhh I love our school!!!! It is the BEST! and it is honestly a major reason why we havent fled the the mountains to live.
Juniper was Cinderella in the school play, and it was darling.
Here she is, singing a song from the play at bedtime. melts my heart.

5 years ago today..
...A little dude would come into my life and enchant me with his dimples and giggles.
From the moment he could walk, my life changed dramatically. Climbing, running, screaming, he was so full of life!
He humbled me as a mother. I thought I had all the answers before Avery came along. hhaa!!
Despite his stubborn, strong headed, impulsive madness (SO my child), He has brought so much love and so much joy into our lives with his giant huge strangulating hugs.
I love seeing him kiss worms & bugs, and caress his lips against fuzzy caterpillars.
I love it when he crawls into bed with me in the mornings and wraps his tiny little arms and legs around me like a little monkey.
I love the feeling of his little eyelashes batting against mine with butterfly kisses every night.
I love how he cannot let juniper out of his intense embrace in the morning before school. He watches her walk away.. holding back tears. trying to be strong.
I love his strong will, his carefree soul, his millions of questions, his inquisitive ways, his intensity, his wild and crazy spirit, and his ridiculously cute little face. =)
Last night I laid there until he fell asleep, running my hands through his hair, and along his little back. The last night I would cuddle my tiny four year old.
Every day he wakes up and says "Its going to be a great day! I am going to be such a good boy!"
and every day I tell him, "you ARE such a good boy Avery. I Love you".
On March 23rd, @ 8.2 pounds, 20 inches, Avery completed our family, and overflowed my heart with more love I ever thought was humanly possible to feel.

my baby boy is turning 5 tomorrow!!!!
I told Avery he could have whatever he wanted for his bday dinner.

bugs first softball game!!
What a day! It was soooo beautiful out. The girls were so excited! It was awesome!
in between pictures and our game, we got to watch Melanie play. aaah... pammy and I remenising about our softball days together. With the Herbert's there, it made the day even more nastalgic for me. The best part, was just hanging out with my bug inbetween . I rarely get any time with just her. Avery consumes so much of me.. it was nice to be able to spend some quality time with her.

well... one car down..
I was car-less today, which is cool, as long as I dont have anything to do, which I didnt today, and I love it. Plus, i have a lovely new nice friend that drives me around town and doesnt seem to mind my sons terrible tantrums. she loves peets coffee, loves to rock out, and wears lots of rings.
The dishwasher is broken.. f*(K!!
the rain has stopped, so the rotting hole in the ceiling has subsided its leaking.
we cannot pass one of the star levels on mario!!!! driving us crazy!
And then my car (which i have to fill up with water every couple days) has thought it might be fun to blow hot air out on warm days, and cold air on hot days. Really?
Brandon and i both need our wisdom teeth out (because its getting harder and harder to chew! ouch! we both fight over who gets to go first. whos teeth are in worse shape! HA! )... and i honestly wonder why people pay for dental insurance at all, because it DOESTN COVER ANYTHING!!!
my poor hubby cannot look in either direction due to some neck cramp.
and.... we are SO overdrawn.
Jake's bike got stolen from bart!! booO!!!
ok... had to get that out.
And, despite all the little stupid anooying grown up life stuff...
I am happy as can be! Its this sunshine i tell ya!!
what a glorious few days this has been!
My daughter lit up when she saw this picture! And.. we had a wonderful warm evening of scooter riding, softball practice, and inspecting our new wildflower seed patch (pictured below). sprouting up after just a couple days.
we returned home sun kissed & rosy cheeked .
tomorrow is st patricks day! woohoooooooo. we will party. we will drink. we will blow things up and be in good company.
and life is good. regardless of all the other crap.

lazy day breakfast
little man making pancakes and pumpkin muffins all by himself. He was just in there singing songs about being a chef.
"im a chef. this is how chefs do it.. lalalla!! im a chef!" it was too cute.
And, no, we do not crank up the heater in our house.. he got hot and sweaty in his feet pajamas running a muck all morning! LOL . this kid NEVER STOPS MOVING.
my new barn wood rug! cool huh?? its like a giant mousepad! amazing! I cant wait to lay a little newborn on it with a flower in her hair. Studio progress has been delayed. We coated the floors, and now they are peeling. possibly from the murphys oil soap we used to clean them? So... we have to rent a sander, sand the floor, and recoat. blah!
Brandon is home, i am so happy! yay!

School District and Teachers' Association Reach Agreement on Concessions
The Board approved the Agreement with the APT (Association of Pleasanton Teachers), by which saving our district $4,587,000 of our budget deficit for the upcoming 2010/2011 year! This is tremendously good news!
The approximately $8.2 Million in budget cuts that were slated to be approved for the 2010/2011 school year has now been reduced to $3.4 Million."

fun fun
Last night we had softball practice! The girls are actually learning how to catch and throw! Its so fun! I feel like they came leaps and bounds since our last practice.
cute little guy from a session this weekend.
Im so excited for our first game this Saturday!!! We had a "pretend game" last night.. a few of them hit the ball and ran down the baseline WITH the bat (one of which was my daughter) ! Some of them just stood there, and most of them couldnt hit. If they cant hit off the pitch, then they get to hit off the tee. so everyone is guaranteed a hit! I love it!
The games are sure to be entertaining! LOL!
We practice in a grass field with invisible bases, so I think it will be exciting for them to get to play on a real field this weekend!

done today and Juniper is among the group. If she attends the Warriors
game, she will be honored on Center Court at halftime along with 9 other
students who are top fundraisers in the Greater Bay Area!
