lights

i must say..
i just dropped my baby girl off at my parents house, after this fabulous wedding we attended(pics coming soon)
and..anyways..
just hanging out here a little heartbroken (ive had too much to drink ok!)at the massive road that has cut its bloody way into the flesh of tassajara valley.
there is a street light lined road coming out of the west side of tassajara right after my parents house.(it connects with dougherty..and comes across the way to tassajra) cutting through the hillss..like a massive highway..about 50 lights..working theier way down the hill..to meet an old country road.
i mean.."you cant stop progress" (right daniel ah haa haa) but..i mean WOW! it just came out of nowhere
and my mom said , while walking us out, "did you guys notice that?? (fuck yes i did mom!!) i mean...it jsut changes the way the sky looks"
aaawww break my heart. it sure does.
i remember sitting out there , chillin, looking at the horizon of the hills...the defined hill line..the beauty of the dark black rolling hills against the dark blue sky..ahhhh . beautiful.
however, over 20 years ago when we moved out there...it was zoned and in the paperwork for houses and 4 lane roads. this was no secret to us. so..i guess we cant be too surprised. its just strange. thats all. to see it all actually happening.

whoa... my mom and i were just talking about this!! she says that san ramon is trying to claim all that land out on tassajara so that they can build more shit!! i hate it! i remember the good ol days when we could just cruise down tassajara, with no stop lights, and no housing complexes...
