happy 5 year to us!! almost! im soooo excited! were not too big on celebrating our anniversary crazy style. "all you need is love man" but, this year, brandon got us a room in yosemite near the falls, and we have dinner reservations at the awahnee!! yippeeee!!!
we were going to be camping the week of with the fam, and leaving on our anniversary, but now my mom is taking the kids home on our last day, and were gonna be able to scrub the weeks dirt off and have a bed to sleep on in a hotel!!!!! in the valley!!! wearing a dress in yosemite without greasy hair is going ot feel kinda weird, and totally cool all at the same time! i cant wait !
i made this video before our wedding. needs some updating!!
a lot has changed in the last 5 years!!

shelter cove
I love exploring, and i am so lucky to have the opportunity to show my kids the world all around us.
Memorable moments from the trip...
first off, we broke down on the way up in my old hood, Petaluma.
whats with breaking down in petaluma? this wasnt the first time.
SOOOOO we got a rental van. and, now im in love with vans , for real this time. This is the second rental van ive gotten, and they are so rad.
when you have kids you can give me your opinion on that one, but until then. shut it!
Ive had to leave too many notes under windshield wipers for door dings.
anyways...
where was i? So, my baby boy got carsick on the windy road and puked everywhere.
we FINALLY got there, after a LONG long day with three kids and a dog, not to mention $700 later in car parts and rentals.
once we got there it was smooth sailing. I must say, theres one one else id rather get stranded with than cassie. shes such a mellow positive woman.
.we had the best weekend. Auntie cassie and uncle eric were more so welcoming and fun. and we finally got to spend some quality time with baby ginger!
we took a walk up the street, to look out along the coast, and you could see a rainbow across the mountainside, the ocean, and snow on top of the mountain. it was breathtaking.
They have one genereal store! i dont know how they do it! i must admit, im not that rugged.
Its ok to be naked there. awesome!!
