It was truly magical to be a part of this big day. Congrats to Dan & Holly!
From South Dakota visiting my bff, Idianapolis, chicago, portland, this was such a new adventure for us! We took Amtrack all the way home and it was one of the coolest things ever!! Or maybe it was just that it had been more than 7 years since we last embarked for more than a couple days without the kids. It was like a 6 day long date night.
I am kinda loving the fact that we are not in any organized sports at the moment. The kids have been running a muck in the neighborhood, we have been eating dinner as a family every night. just chillin. Ahh... simplicity..too bad juniper is already begging for me to sign her up for softball. Maybe by then, we will be rearing to go, but ... let me tell ya, I think I am on to something here...
Well it's been a few years since Juniper did dance. I wanted her to try everything first, but.. she wanted to go back to dance! No soccer for this girl! Art, dance, and softball. I don't know how I am going to juggle it all, but she definitely loves it, so.. we will see..
The daddy daughter dance was a tear jerker of course. And seeing her on stage with her friends that she has been dancing with since she was 3.. its just so cool to see your kid creating beautiful memories.
WOW! This month has been a whirlwind of craziness!!! I don't think we have been home for more than a few minutes at a time. Junipers team made it into the playoffs, and all the way to the championship game. FIRST PLACE baby oh yea. It was so fun!
I don't have a lot of pics of Avery's extra curricular activities. He spent most of his baseball season staring into the sky, making his friends laugh hysterically, playing in the dirt, and sneaking his harmonica into the dugout. ;) god I love him. He is so my child.
