two reasons to get in shape this summer . well, whats left of it.

#1 we are going here sometime this fall to celebrate (belated) my hubby's 30th bday. (FYI. due to work,we dont exist the month of August)

#2 I have to fit into the bridesmaid dress I ordered a while back, & just picked up. its a wee bit tight. hha! what can i say... its been a fun summer.

There are only a handful of things that can get my ass to SF these days. (i know, im an old fart) #1 being, to visit our incredible friends, and #2 would be the Euritrian/ethiopian restaurants. Its my favorite food in the world!!!!!!!!!

I never imagined id be having the best african food EVER right in my very own hometown, let alone, at a kids birthday party!!!! OMG!! can we say stoked.

oh ya!.. We went camping right before jeni got to town. damn. summer is flying by already. damn.

The highlight of the trip... seeing a bear 2 seconds after this picture was taken swim across the river about 40 feet away. OMG! it was crazy! brandon went trecking upstream to look for a better spot, scared the bear out of shrubs, and splash! into the water!

It was junipers first bear sighting. and the closest ive ever been!

it was the kids first time fishing. we didnt catch anything =( but... juniper was soooooo patient. she wanted it soooo bad! maybe next time!

Feather river is amazing. we took the kids down the rapids. i want to clip the video together soon . cause it was awesome!

Theres an old brewery that burnt down a million years ago up there. its hidden. i took brandon there. figured we need a little good chi for the new brewing company were going to build. booyah. The second batch is better than the first. yay!

i planted sunflowers in the front yard to fill in the empty spot by the sidewalk. I didnt think they would grow this tall! they were supposed to be "wild sunflowers" the kind that grow low. go figure! im surprised the city hasnt contacted me about this yet. hehe.i just noticed how small averys shirt is on him. he looks like a total dork. he loves that shirt though, cause he made it! =)
