One of our turtle eggs has finally hatched!!! weve been waiting for almost two months now! i was starting to get worried, but..today, we saw the tiniest little turtle head pop out of its shell!! it was the most amazing thing. its the cutest thing ive ever seen.

kick ass time in half moon bay..jen and i finally got around to bringing the kids to the beach for the first time..the week before school started!! we had visions of being at the beach at least once a week!!!where did summer go?

and , then, i drove up to tahoe to chill with my auntie and cousin.
my car broke down on the way up. ended up being like $300 in towing and mechanic fees. could be worse right?? eerrrr. (forgot to mention it overheated to smitherines on our way up to bear last time)good thing i have a cell phone now! but...really...we are in need of a new vehicle. im thinking the new FJ cruiser? ooooooh. i wish.

i need to get me over that grapevine to see my best friends pammy and daniel. i need me some pammy and daniel.

other than that, oh, and avery getting stung in the fact a few times by a yellow jacket (see swollen face pics), it was a marvelous time. juniper is kayaking like a big girl! im so proud! and, i even jumped in (BRRRRR!!!) and swam around, dove down and found a crawdad trap, and released them! he he .

anyways...weve also been without a fridge for two weeks now. thats finally fixed (almost $300 later) =( yikes!!!

so, car fixed. check. fridge fixed. check. so...were broke at the moment. at least my cocktails will be cold. =)

wedding season is winding down at last, ive been spending this last week posting the last of pics from my big weddings. (now comes the album building) , and sewing junipers hula costume. which. Let-me-tell you is not that simple. and i can sew! lets just say there is drilling involved. we have to drill holes in shells people! and braid raffia for headbands! and etc etc.... but, im having fun. i love this kind of stuff.

I don't donate much money, and i always wish i could do more.(and someday i will!) in fact, i often think about not donating at all, since i feel guilty for giving a measly 10 bucks. but, then i think..every little $10 or whatever adds up to be a lot..and if everyone donated just a teeny tiny bit...well..that would be awesome.
